Welcome to Busy Bee Academy where team leaders Buzz and Honey are here to help new recruits be the best they can BEE! We’ll connect our hive minds to find the best ways to take care of ourselves and our community. Using music and audience participation, we’ll explore eating smart, staying active, and managing emotions. A healthy hive also helps us BEE kind by celebrating differences and making friends. If we work together, the whole group can thrive!
Health & Wellness themes include: Nutrition, Physical Activity, Mental and Emotional Health, Personal and Community Health, Empathy, and Celebrating Differences!

This 18-minute YouthAware touring production will be available to SFUSD sites FOR FREE! Booking starts January 2026
- Bee Amazing! is NCTC YouthAware’s new Health & Wellness play
- Touring 33 schools for 52 performances for 6,300 kids.
- Show is FREE for SFUSD schools.
- Teaches kids to “Bee Healthy, Bee Mindful, and Bee Kind!”
- Buzz and Honey teach new recruits at the Busy Bee Academy to “be the best bees you can be!”
- Other lessons: eating healthy, staying active, managing big emotions, positive self-talk, celebrating differences, and making friends.
- YouthAware’s innovative health and wellness programs for grades K-8 have been touring schools for over 40 years!
